On 26 April 2025, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, H.E. Amb. Kubanychbek Omuraliev participated in the 6th ECO Ministerial Meeting on Tourism in Erzurum 

At the meeting, Secretary General Omuraliev underlined the close cooperation among the OTS and ECO countries as well as the shared heritage that stretches back centuries, shaped by common ancestry, traditions, languages and enduring legacy of the Silk Road.

Secretary General also emphasized the OTS initiatives such as the Turkic Silk Road, Tabarruk Ziyarat and the Turkic World Tourism Capital.

During the meeting, Erzurum Declaration was also adopted by the participants.
